DESCRIPTION:And they are those who give food – in spite of their own need \, to the needy\, and the orphan\, and the captive\, [saying in their hearts]\, ‘We only feed you for the sake of God\, and we desire nothing in return from you\, not even a word of thanks.’ (Quran 76:8-9). \nGive to the near of kin his due\, and also to the needy and the wayfarers. (17:26 – 27) \nThe Holy Quran repeatedly tells us to feed the homeless and all those in need. \n\n\nIn this program\, we will be making 150 ready to eat\, nutritious meals and then going downtown to pass them out to the homeless.
