DESCRIPTION:The vision of the Noor Collective is to foster an active community of believers who are pushing for positive change within themselves and the world around them. \nFriday programs are just the foundation of a comprehensive\, dynamic community structure that will foster pious believers and preserve true Muhammadin Islam for future generations to come as well as to shine the light of Ahlul Bayt (as) into the hearts of the people of San Diego county and around the world. \nAttend our 2nd annual Town Hall Meeting in order to find out how far we have gotten in our short-term\, medium-term\, and long-term goals; how to get involved in the Noor Collective as a committed volunteer to help us expand our programs; learn about what we have accomplished in the year that we have been active; what our plans are for the near and distant futures; and offer your feedback on things you would like to see from us as well as what you would like to see from the Muslim community in general. \nThe forward-thinking vision of the Noor Collective is vital to our lives as Muslims in the West. Just as Imam Hussain (as) was duty bound to protect the Islam of his grandfather the Prophet Muhammad (saww)\, we too must do what we can to preserve it.

One extreme\, usually when negative aspects of culture are mixed into the religion\, says women should just stay at home. Another extreme\, usually when secular liberalism is mixed into the religion\, wishes to completely abandon the unique fitra (inner nature of human beings) that women have been given as a gift by Allah. Lady Fatima\, however\, practiced pure Islam with no corruption from any of the extremes. \nJoin us this week to find out how Lady Fatima’s life is a role model for all humanity of the true middle path of righteousness that gives honor\, dignity\, and equity to women\, especially in the face of all these man-made extremes. \n\n\nLecture will begin at 7pm\, followed by dinner.
