After finishing his A-levels in 2004; he took a gap year to study Islam in the Islamic Republic of Iran. In 2005 He took leave from Qom to return back to England and attend University where he read for a Degree in Psychology and Health Studies. He Graduated in 2009\, during his time at university and until now he continues his studies in Fiqh\, Aqaid and Philosophy through Private Teachers. He has been speaking for a number of years in Masajid around England; tackling issues concerning the Youth. In the 2011 Elections he was elected as a councillor for the Labour Party\, making him the youngest Councillor in the Peterborough Chamber and one of 10 Shia councillors In the UK. An avid practitioner of wing chun kung fu; He is also the founder of operation:313 a youth camp aimed at teaching bushcraft and wilderness survival techniques.
