Description
This Friday we honor the martyrdom anniversary of Malcolm X, human rights pioneer, by assessing what he did to organize and unite people. From supporting economic autonomy for Afro-Americans, to unity between black Muslims and black Christians, and ultimately unity of all humanity through the teachings of Islam, especially in his post-Hajj awakening to the brotherhood of man.

Through Malcolm X’s tireless organizing, he was able to uplift many Afro-Americans from the depths of sin, vice, poverty, and oppression, as God is the only One worth relying on for help. Join us to learn how we can apply Malcolm’s example into our own communities so that we too may achieve autonomy, dignity, and unity.

Note: We will be sitting outside around a small fire so it may be a good idea to bring a jacket.
