We are honored to announce that we will be having Sayyid Ali Tofigh as our Guest Scholar for this week.
His bio: After completing his elementary and secondary education in Maryland, he made the decision to pursue Islamic studies in the Hawza in Qom at the age of 15. He studied in Al-Mustafa International University (Jami’atul Mustafa) for six years and received a BA degree in Islamic Studies and Jurisprudence. He returned to the States and pursued a degree in law at the George Washington University in DC. Now that he successfully graduated from law school, he plans on returning to Qom within the next few months to further his studies.

In this week’s program, we will be discussing Fatimah Zahra (peace be upon her) as a model of resistance. How did she fight back against the oppressors of her time and how can we apply those lessons to our lives today?
