We’re honored to to have Shaykh Husayn Mekki speaking this Friday on the topic of ‘Understanding Islamic Social Justice in Light of The Murder of George Floyd.’
Bio: Shaykh Husayn Mekki received his Masters degree in Islamic studies at I.C.A.S. (Islamic College for Advanced Studies) and also studied at the Islamic Seminary of Qom for several years. He’s currently a PHD candidate at the University of Denver studying ‘Education Leadership and Policy Studies.’
